Subject: »NEWS AROUND THE WORLD

Of course they don't care if people have a home or not. But companies care about profits, and building and selling houses, you do make profit with that. What the reason of building is, is not important. As long as they build houses if there's a certain demand for that. Supply and demand, a nice system you know ;-)

Nice these companies makes profits, good for the economy, but the fact is it's not going fast enough. To many people are still waiting for a (better) affordable house :) The more the private sector builds, the better it can be, but that doesn't mean less responsibility for the government to take care of the problem.

No it isn't. It's a private problem for those people. Government can't take care of everyone. Imagine all the people in a country say they need housing, and can't do that for themselves, then what you're gonna do?

This is exactly what is happening for over many decades now. And looking at the numbers how many new buildings should be finished and how many actually are build, the problem is becoming larger. And the market is building more empty office buildings, that is also the responsibility of the local governments to make good plans so this can't happening.

It could perfectly be that the regulations are too strict.

That's true.

The government only can take limited risk since they are politically responsible when things go wrong.

Housing isn't really a bad investment in the Netherlands, also not for the government ;) (when the economy is ok again)

In the Province of Groningen, where I am originally from, there are at least two cases where it went wrong (Blauwe Stad en Meerstad).

government plans sucks :-)

just market can tell you what you should build !!

but market are just people or companies with money = demand.....

private sector are building cheap houses too, but there is lower profit than for building and selling offices...

government can make good condition for business, that is the only one important think, if there is good business condition (and of course low salaries in some region) people have jobs, if they have jobs they can get loans and buy houses / flats.... government should do more, like investing and building new flats, that is bad way .
2011-04-11 13:34:38
now, at the time of crises our company are building just objects for business, not for people and why ??
We have about 60 not sold flats in new nice building !!! and about 6 000 000 mil € there (in concrete, not on the bank account :-( )

so "our" company is now cheating EU funds for building... this is much easier than trying to build and sell something.. EU is very generous for cheaters.

That our nice EU.... errhr !!

it seems you have a gypsy problem in Slovakia...Finland has Parliamentary Elections this month and it seems we are closing borders and resigning from EU or at least from EMU...good luck anyways!

we make project for some hotel reconstruction, budget can be maybe 1 000 000€, so my boss must take loan for his share on this investment, maybe 500 000€ But we make better budget for EU for reconstruction in value 1 500 000 €. Our man for construction budgeting knows very well its job :-D
Then... company A will ask EU for funding that 1,5mil project (from EU we await 1 mil€) and we give contract for that 1,5 mil € to our company B.
(company A and B has same secret owner, but EU forbidden such a relation, so our owner is officialy not our owner :-D) Then... we (company B) are building that hotel (btw. it is not reconstruction, we demolished old hotel and we are building new one, but EU can not find this cheat) Then our secret owner of company B will take 0,5 mil € through fake invoices and so, give that money to another companies and later to private bank account and than he will give that 0,5mil € into company A and pay off that loan.

but this is off topic, sorry :-D

(btw... company A must make tender for building, but we have some co-companies in construction sectors, they will make for us 2 higher offers (we are giving same "help" for them) and our (company B) will be the best one of course and must win :-). Tender is not published on internet, but I make printscreesn of edited-web and I change datum of windows date there and this is ok as prove for EU institution :-DDDD epic fail)
2011-04-11 13:49:00
but last project for reconstruction of hospital we win with the maximal price :-D... man in tender from Ministry was our "man" (we built him house for 0,4mil € last year !!) so he help us to win with maximal price. all other companies were "discarded" because of some not achieved technical condition in tender)

This is 1 of the reasons (and 1 of many examples) why I don't want the Netherlands to pay that much money to the EU anymore.
It are often the same people that keeps steeling our money we also worked for. So I don't think it's funny ..
This is exactly what is happening for over many decades now. And looking at the numbers how many new buildings should be finished and how many actually are build, the problem is becoming larger. The problem isn't that the government doesn't build houses, the problem is people rely on the government to often.

it seems we are closing borders and resigning from EU or at least from EMU...

Seriously?
the problem is people rely on the government to often.

And here is the problem again ;)
it seems we are closing borders and resigning from EU or at least from EMU...

Seriously?

Could they do that? I can't imagine this is allowed in the EU.
2011-04-11 14:06:23
why not? it´s democracy, you have a right to choose...at least they will be first...
2011-04-11 14:08:21
Resigning was allowed nowadays I guess. It would at least be weird if it wasn't allowed.
