rumpil: I dont care about aggressors, but it is really shame that one half of country had to run out to save life against own government which want kill them all and the other half want run out to EU cos they dont want listen their government orders to kill people on the east.

You're talking about an election where 4 parties have been banned, including the comunist party who reached 13.2% in the previous elections.
Then look who reached 2nd and 3rd positions...

2nd is a crazy oil-gas-oligarch bitch who was planing to nuke 8 milions russians in Ukraine...


3rd is a crazy asshole who enjoy go around chanting "Putin huilo" (I guess you understand) and who leads the new gestapo-police force in east Ukraine...


Poroshenko, who's leaked to be an american agent since 2006, was far the best option left for ukrainians....

I think when a country is under threat by an enemy there will always be extremists who stand up. Even without this threat these kind of idiots are winning elections (PVV, Front National, Sweden Democrats, etc etc)

The hell with neutrality, in stead we want action and writers of articles who think for us with their obviously suggestive headliners .... I have only read the front page, but I don't think these kind of 'news' sites makes you any smarter or better informed, it will only make you more hateful! A very high FOX News-content, 'news' for dummies meant to evoke that 'nice' underbelly feeling. World Journalism at its best. On the left, on a pro-Ukrainian channel, the headline says that Russia is bombing the Ukraine. In the center, on a Russian channel, the headline says that Ukraine is bombing Russia. And on the right, on Al-Jazeera, Israel is bombing Gaza (of course). I miss the days when journalists actually checked their facts before publication - or avoided lying in the name of their bosses' political agenda.

...as for the vice video, yes he is a radical, he uses threats... uuu... but I don't see your point... the only thing this video shows is that the lugansk chief of police, is not doing his job... :-] (of taking down unidentified men with guns, who roam the streets) ..and the radical politician (government official?) comes, to sort this out with the general in command of the region...

These things happen, but cherry picking is for the biased people. If you want to find examples you can always find a few ..... But the answer is in that text you posted: 'when journalists actually checked their facts before publication', and maybe a surprise for you, most journalists do their job the right way and do check the facts before publication.

When you use Twitter, home made Youtube videos, personal blogs, propaganda websites, etc, as 'news' sources then you know for sure non of the claims are checked and most is just biased speculations, complete nonsense and even lies.

So yes, main stream rules, as long as facts are checked like it should be.

Western journalist have to pay bills, that is all. Eastern journalist do same, but they usually dont have how to pay all bills even if they got salary, so they have different attitude to problem.

are you able count how much thousands of lies were printed in western media ?
