1. Isn't that democracy, the majority decides? Ofcourse as long as new laws don't brake any international laws and apparently it doesn't. Is it ok? I don't think so, freedom is for everyone even if I think they are wrong, like these religious things.

2. Don't know, I have no idea how many Muslim women wear a full-face veils in France and how many are happy or not happy because of this new law. Probably just a few are wearing full-face veils but it gives people the idea they are more safe. But the question is what next, search all Arab looking men with sports bags in buses and trains, could be a bomb inside ... I can understand these people aren't happy with laws like this.
On the other hand, if women are wearing this but it's not their own choice, then it's good for them. But you can ask yourself, will this really change their lives? (see 3)

3. I don't think so. If these women could only come outside wearing a full-face veil, they won't be allowed to come outside anymore without it I think. These fundamentalists won't reject their believe (like any other believer, specially fundamentalists). Women aren't equal or really free.

4. No ofcourse not, but it can happen if some religious group comes to power, like Taliban for example.

why Italy is the only country in europe that is trying to help the immigrants coming from north Africa?
what do you think?
I think Italy is not the only country trying to help them. However, we can't help everyone. There should be much more control. Italy is just the closest country for people from for instance Libya and Tunisia. And there is no control on the identity of the refugees.
(edited)
say me if you find another country that is helping them.
the control on the identity is really difficult cause of the number of refugees.they are thousands!we are not prepared.what should we have done?shoot their boats?
