About the language: we have very severe language laws too (Dutch and French), but that's only for official communication between the government and the citizens.

- I can divide your country between poland and hungary
- you will open borders and let me in and than you must listen me.
(same as what he said to czechs, and they have maybe same answer, so there was no war too)

Tiso just choose no war, and after couple of years we have national rebellions against Hitler and with help from CCCP we crushed them (ok, Russians crushed them :-))

Tiso took the wrong option. He should have resisted against Hitler. Just like Belgium did.
(Hitler said: just let us pass, we want to get behind Paris through Belgium, then we won't attack Belgium. Belgium said "No, we don't let armies pass our territory to attack someone". Hitler attacked Belgium, but it was the right moral choice.)

a student Malina Hedwig was beaten up in public, for the sole reason of not speaking Slovakian.

that girl was not telling true, and now yes she can have problem because of lying to investigators. Investigations find out this fact... she did it just because somebody from "south" have a "idea" how to blame slovakia..... but facts are facts, Hedviga changed statements more times, so who knows true now...just author of this story.


Now I know who wrote that web... it is same for many many years.... Slovakia are peaceful nation which is independent and somebody can not accept it :-) that is all.

There is no law, which dont allow to speak in any languages... :-)
There is just law, that official state language is slovak and in state offices we are using state language, except some region on south, where is allowed using also Magayar language.
