Of course not. If you think I'd answer that affirmative, you don't understand a s*** of what I'm saying.

And by the way, free move within a country is also one of the basic 'rules' of a democracy.

ok... we can close this by "EU has two type of rules, one for eastern europe, second for western europe"
Not at all. You obviously don't understand what I'm saying.

France sent the gypsies back where they came from, you cannot say all the gypsies in Slovakia come from that small area in Slovakia ...
(edited)
OK, but then please explain me, why western European countries chastise us, that we cannot ensure decent standard of living for hundreds thousands gypsies, when you are not able to take care about few hundreds of gypsies...isn´t it hypocrisy on your side??? You should get us a showcase lesson...

I don't live in France my friend. I've never seen a gypsy in Belgium myself, there are very few. But I understand it's difficult. That's why I said this yesterday evening:

Btw, it seems the Roma are a very close community, and are asocial to persons outside the community. They don't respect the laws concerning for instance education, as they think it's not important. Then why should other people in the country - for instance Slovakia - pay for people who don't want to be a part of Slovakia's society?
maybe you´re too young to remember:

On April 18 2000, the Belgian daily Morgen reported that a "New Collective Expulsion of Gypsies" was planned. According to the article, following an order by the Ministry of the Interior, the local police of Tienen started warning a number of Slovak asylum seekers on April 17 that they would soon be expelled unless they left the country voluntarily. The article stated that "the mayor of Tienen, Marcel Logist, confirms that these are Roma-Gypsies." He reportedly called the Slovak asylum seekers an "invasion". On April 20, Morgen again reported that "1500 Gypsies" from Slovakia and Bulgaria would be expelled. Minister for Home Affairs Mr Antoine Duquesne reportedly stated on Belgian television on April 20, "We have nothing against Gypsies, but we see this as a test case for a humane asylum policy."

I was 10 that year, so not that interested in politics :p

And remember Slovakia was outside EU then. I think there's nothing wrong what happened then.
I was 10 that year, so not that interested in politics this explains a lot :) When I was 20 world around was black or white for me...everything was clear...then I went much more deeply into some things around and discovered there is a lot shades of gray :)

And remember Slovakia was outside EU then. I think there's nothing wrong what happened then. I am not talking it was good or bad, just asking why you´re punishing us for gypsy issue, if you cant solve a problem with a small group? You gave them away as unwanted child, but now you´re requesting that we have to take care of them...nice example from your side...
In Belgium and the Netherlands are just a few thousand Roma. I know in the Netherlands a number of larger trailer-parks, mainly in the south of the Netherlands and 1 nearby my city. Not only Roma are living in these trailer-parks, also native Dutch. And we have smaller trailer-parks for a few families spread around the country because putting a lot of these people together give problems, as we know from the past ;) Besides, if you want people to be totally integrated this is a good way to achieve that. Smaller groups of families mixed with the other Dutch.

Look, we also have our problems with minorities, this isn't something specially only in Slovakia or some other country. Do you think it would be fair we make their lives as uncomfortable as possible so they move to your country and we can say, now it's your problem even if they are all Dutch, have fun with it? It's the job of your government to take care of the Slovakian, also the minorities, not some other EU country. Like my country takes care of the Dutch problems with minorities.

You gave them away as unwanted child, but now you´re requesting that we have to take care of them...

No I didn't. Seriously, do you read what I write? So I repeat myself, for the third (!) time now:

Btw, about what you said about black/white: it has nothing to do with that. It has to do with having an ideology.
(edited)
But your ideology is based on understanding only two colors of the world...later you´ll be much more thoughtful and cautious in statements because you´ll discover another shades...

OK, I am not saying lets take our gypsies to your country and take care of them. I am saying do NOT punish my country because of gypsy issue...your gypsies is quite another coffee than ours. Ours are used to get everything on a silver platter from past...it´s quite another situation, cause your gypsies are living in yours conditions for decades (maybe centuries), our gypsies until nowadays didn´t realized times have changed...

I think, Slovaks are more helpfull, for example, if 30 people (some minority of Belgians) come to slovakia abusing our system, we will rather give them shovel and pickaxe and 2€/hour, we dont need just send them back :-)
2011-04-14 14:05:55
If Slovakia isn't pushed and these problems goes on for another few decades it will also stay an EU problem, so I think it's a very good idea to push countries to solve their problems.

The Roma living in the Netherlands do live differently, specially when they are living in trailer-parks. They also pay less rent as their houses are on wheels, or they should :P This should be a trailer, yeh right: link to img house :D.
And when I talk about minority problems in the Netherlands I'm not talking about Roma's but mainly Northern Africa and Middle America (and some Eastern European) problems, that are our larger groups of minorities.
Belgians? What do you mean, or is it just an example?

Btw, I don't think you'll find a Belgian who is willing to work for 2 € an hour ;-)

And btw, our minorities (in Netherlands and Belgium) aren"t mainly gypsies, the problem here is the integration of for instance muslims. I think there are much more muslims in our countries than in countries as Czech Republic or Slovakia.
