Syria situation keeps escalating, I dont get how come Europe doesnt step in ?
Not with arms, but with at least declarations, instead the UN will give Syria millions of $ for good cooperation.

it was never about human rights :), every state has just its own interests and there is nothing interesting in Syria

its damned if you, damned if you dont with these places.

You either go in there trying to stop mass slaughter and get all the attacks put on you with accusations of meddling and killing innocent people, or you let them resolve their own problems and get accused of letting mass slaughter happen.

I just hope it all gets sorted and Europe and western countries stop pumping millions upons millions of $ into these governments as its that money that causes all the problems imo.

Precisely. Unfortunately, in poor countries, leaders can easily take advantage of people.

You have to admit this is a bit absurd.

In most cases we have to let them work it out for them selves or at least make a low level of intervention.

I'm sick about the accusations against Europe, NATO,.. that they did it ALL about the money. Of course they didn't do it for the beautiful eyes of the libyan girls.
But if it was for the money then why was there never an intervention is Congo etc? Plenty of resources over there, so big money.
There was a Safety Council resolution. Nobody was against that resolution so i guess that means something towards human rights.

However next to the human rights violations the west (and europe in special) has interest in Libya

A stable neigbour is always a good thing
If that neighbour helps to stop immigration he is a great neigbour. (so if we do something for the new government they do something for us..)

It is really weird that you laugh at countries who are in the same union or same organisation as Slovakia.

And it's not an EU action.

Why wouldn't Iran do it? It is their neighbour, they don't want an instable regime at their frontiers. It seems pretty logic to me.

I just like how you can make the right arguments for every situation you need :-)

I can understand why is EU so war active... I just dont like that they are not able to named/called it with true name. It is just war because Kaddafi disobeyed EU :-D and EU has no economic/ or immigration interest in Syria. Just accept this true and then I can say too, let's crush Kaddafi, we are stronger and must give him a lesson.

And it is not all the same. The anti-regime group in Libya is in % of total population a lot bigger than in Syria. Khadaffi shoots with cluster munition, tanks and aircrafts, syria with tanks.

lets give this issue, I quess, less than 20 years and you´ll see, where the truth is...unfortunately, it will came too late for you...
