oh yes! It seems that mayweather is ready to face pacquiao, after more than two years putting excuses, now he and his father have seen boxing keeps on moving so, if he doesn´t fight pacquiao right now, well, he may keep his undefeated record, but boxing world will forget him soon... he accepted, he is ready, and it´s gonna be a great fight, I hope.

They are the best right now, pound4pound, so, the expectation is amazing. I guess mayweather will play conterpounch, exactly the way marquez did las month, because that is HIS style, he fight that way better than anyone. Pacquiao is gonna fight like he always try to fight, attacking like a fucking robot, going forward all the time.


klitshkos are as undefeatable as boring, IMO. They will win everything until they retire, but TODAY´S BOXING ELITE is on welters, lightweights, etc... Heavyweight championships today are far away from tyson holyfield times... and millons of miles away from clay/frazzier/foreman times.

Pacquiao did a lot of damage to the right eye of Margarito, he broke Margarito's orbital bone, Margarito had to have surgery on it to repair it. That's why Cotto was focusing his attack on that right eye of Margarito.

Excited to hear Pacquiao vs. Mayweather is finally happening. Of course hope Pacman wins but fear Mayweather will counterpunch his way to a decision win.

yes, pacman broke margarito´s eye, but it seems to be that it was ok for the fight. In fact, margarito´s doctor said the bone is ok, the problem was the eye was closed and that made the comission doctor finish the fight, because margarito was not able to see with that eye, not because the bone was damaged again.


I think almost everyone in the world wants pacman to defeat mayweather :P
but I think mayweather is the best conterattack boxer in the world, and pacquiao use to show weakness facing good counterpunches. Marquez put pacquiao on evidence again on that issue, so... I don´t know... I will not bet my car on this fight :P

Pacman did not look his best in his last fight. He will definitely have to do better against Mayweather.

freddie roach was not happy at all with pacquiao moves on that fight... he said he asked manny to move to the sides more often, and he didn´t listen to him. So, I guess that´s gonna be the way pacquiao is going to prepare for this fight. Mayweather is quicker than marquez, and I´m afraid that he is stronger too. If pacquiao goes foreward like he did with margarito, cotto or hatton... mmm... mayweather will be pleased :S

have you tried the youtube HBO boxing channel? there are lots of HQ videos, and categories. Should take a look ;-)

I've seen most of those fights. I don't watch a lot of boxing but like to see Pacquiao's fights. I also watch Mayweather's fights, hoping to see him lose as well as the heavyweight title matches hoping for a KO.

That was a bad restart by the referee, beautiful punch though.

I'm not really into boxing, but...that ref looked anything but not objective...he was more excited about the guy going down than the other boxer...

it´s always difficult stopping the fight... when the ref does it because he see the boxer can be damagged, the boxer´s corner most of the times says it was not necesary... when the ref waits to see the boxer´s reaction after the KO, many people say he was exposing him to be damagged...

it´s always difficult. This time the boxer put his hands up and said he was ok, so the ref decided to continue with the fight... a few seconds after that he saw montiel was not able to protect himself, and he stopped inmediatly... I think he did it ok.

this is the best over the head hook I´ve seen in many years...

considered by many the KO of that year... scary punch.

Regarding the refs I completely agree with you, they will be criticized pretty much all the time. However in this instance it seems the fighter doesn't even know where he is and the ref appears to pull his arms up to test whether he can continue. If a fighter doesn't even have the clarity of mind to put his fists up himself the fight shouldn't continue imo.
