Prove trolls don't exist, you absolutely can't do that! ;)
Everyone knows how they look like, everyone know some stories about trolls, I can even draw 1 for you, they are as 'real' as they can get, like your troll in heaven ;) No one can prove he doesn't exist either, and no one can prove he does, but that doesn't matter right? ;P

EDIT: the fact that you can't prove that something doesn't exist doesn't make it real, that's what I wanted to say :)

Yes, because there are billions of planets that are in the zone where life can exist. And all mathematical probability computations results are that there should be many planets that have advanced technology.

Thinking of another civilization on Universe, is a question of Faith not a Rational question as the question of God or Trolls :-).

Human being always need to believe they are not alone since they have conscious to think...

It can't be a question of Faith, god created the world, nothing in the Bible about 3 other worlds with people ;)

But you're right, it's also believing in life on other planets as long as we are not sure :)

Well, talking about numbers, there are estimately 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 planets in the universe and estimately 6 250 000 000 of them are in life-supporting zone.

I think that humans are limited,so,we expect to find et-life the way that we imagine and perceive,but ET can be in other forms (idk) maybe invisible,dust ,etc ..anyway beyond our eyes perception.
Our physics rules doesent count on the universe...so...we have mutch to learn from now on..

interesting. maybe there is a parallel world to earth, that would be weird.

Unfortunately I think it will be many hundreds, if not thousands of years before we encounter any other lifeforms that we can communicate and interact with. The first 'alien' organism we find will probably be a very simple life form similar to bacteria, which will no doubt whet human kind's appetite for discovery.

99% sure there is another intelligent lifeform out there.

i won't argue much about this topic, cause i won't change my view. so:

It is impossible to be the only "living" planet in this gargantual universe. So i am sure there are a lot of other civilizations.
