Subject: EPIC SONG (Folklore) of your country / culture
Zeppelin are ok, but Stairway to Heaven gets used so much it's not funny :(
Sorry mate, but you think English music - you say the Beatles.
Really, are the last songs, epic songs? Anybody knows what folklores music means? LOL XDD
I like motorhead, beatles, etc but...are not folklore songs... Maybe at 2100 XD

Beatles is not a folklore ?!? He is entered for ever into the Sky :-)
I class folklore as being instantly recognisable and generally popular.
For example, a few of my friends (who are of the autotune Gabieberga persuasion) all recognised Ace of Spades when my phone went off, and all admit they like it.
That's why I put it there :)

Motorhead is also very well-known ;-)
And my favourite folklore band ever :
... 1965-1980 were so creative in UK at that time !!! As rememberable as Mozart :-D

Ack, as I can see why people liked the Rolling Stones... I always looked at them at and thought - 'Pah' tbh.
The beattles are so much better example (than iron maiden or motorhead), for the transcendency of his music, but for a country with so many history as England, i guess, there must be something very much fundamental that only the england people recognize :/
thanks btw
thanks btw
Well there are some old poems and of course the English national anthem. If you want a specific defining genre for England, I would say Rock in the broadest term, which covers The Beatles, The Stones and also Motorhead, three different sounds but all in the same general genre.
