but the minimum video card for that game is 256 mb, and my video card have 512.

Standard newbie misconception, measuring cards performance by its video memory.
512 MB means nothing if GPU is weak.

Anyway your card should run it on some low resolution like 800*600 and low details, check your drivers and DirectX...

is that bad the video card? on the website, canirunit.com say that my videocard is on the recomanded game videocard that can run the game and req setings.

It is bad card, as I said it could run FIFA 11 in low res and details...

the question is why gta4 works good on low detail, with no lag,and with medium details but a little lag when i drive a car, and fifa dont,and prototype with medium details works perfect.

GTA4 depends mostly on CPU, it is ported very badly so GPU has not much influence.

ok i understand, so you cand recomandate me how should look a good video card to buy it? but not to spend more than 200 euro.

for 200€ U can buy card with 1gb memory ddr5, 256bit .. just search ;]

Radeon HD 6850, it is around 150-170 euros, great card for that money.
But you must make sure that it fits your mainboard, and that your power supply will feed it without problems...

i dont know to much about computers, what do you mean to fit with my mainboard, how to know if a video card fits with a mainboard.i have an old msip4m890m-L/il(ms-7255) is some problem with my curent card do not fit with mainboard if i cant even move the player at low setting? it take 5-6 secound for a player to make a move.

By slot type (AGP, PCIe and PCIe 2.0), and also free space in computer case can be a problem with bigger cards.

Your mainboard has PCIe slot, and 6850 is PCIe 2.0, but that is not a problem since cards with PCIe 2.0 bus interface are compatible with PCIe.

Also your mainboard is smaller type (mATX), if your computer case is also small that could be a problem.

Which power supply unit do you have ?

6850 is 29 centimetres long and your mainboard is 21cm, check how much more space is available in line with graphic card slot in your computer case...

Sounds like some Chinese crap, they lie about output, but it should be enough.

i solved the problem, i can play fifa now in mediu details at highest resolution with my card, i set in task manager priority high and now i can play it without lag. but i went to a PC shoop and the video card you sugest was close to 300 euro, is to expensive, dont know why on that site was only 200 euro.
