Subject: WikiLeaks Scandal
If you'd remember what Muhajir has said before, you wouldn't bother to talk with him neither. And no, I have nog issue with that. I really don't see the difference between Ban Ki Moon - Clinton and USA - Assange ... except Assange published his info, and Clinton did not.
A discussion starts with respect. This shows you don't have it.
Personally, I don't really care so much for arguments, but what Wikileaks have done is illegal. Simple as.
and what if what they did was the only way to bring to light an even bigger illegal thing? Seems like 'simple as that' as well.
I pity you. Seriously. If names will be published, that will be a serious threat to American safety. You are inhuman to hope others will be killed.
I don't really care what you think of me, in fact, I really don't care. But to keep it ontopic, all this has to do with cause & consequence. Wikileaks couldn't publish anything if their was nothing to publish.

actually, to be honest, I doubt that too :)

Ofcourse they could have published something, but nothing that would go around the world like now.
unfortunately, the wikileaks that are going around the world and that are discussed the most, are the localised gossip about that american embassy personal have to say about local politicians/the nicknames for european leaders (ie. the gossip). The real important leaks aren't discussed, imo.
The bombshells, like those that clinton ordered spying on ban ki moon or, earlier, those screw ups by the american military in afganistan and iraq, weren't discussed and were even barely mentioned at all.

Ah, that's what you mean. You're right, it isn't the best 'news' that is discussed at the moment. Maybe it will happen in a few weeks, lets hope so.
only when it gets picked up by the regular media in a more respectful way. Right now, he's being talked about like a criminal.
it is really good thing for our stupid cabinet :)
Yeh, they are killing the messenger, not the perpetrators.
your arguments just make me laugh... how damn naive people can be....
Dominant class has always tries to justify their actions with help of sophisms....
this case is exactly the same as thesis put forward by Goethe against French revolution: "Disorder provoked by the struggle against injustice would be worse than the injustice itself"
and moral of it is that: people should not try to change established rules of dominant class (in this case governments)

Because every other country has spies as well? I would not be surprised if Russia/France/etc have performed the same actions as the Americans in their time.

why?
If the french revolution hadnt happen most of the civil rights and democratic states would not have existed until much later in history. The fall of monarchy has liberated a lot of people and created various new regimes that are fairer for the human kind, the regimes that arent slowly die as each day passes.
I really don't get your point...
