well that's true.. the economic growth of china has been enormous in the last decades... so i'm not surprised.. but it has a big enviromental cost..

They're actually trying to cut down the growth.

Nothing else for us to do then to hope that EU and US will get over their problems, unite even more and keep up whith them. Russia is screwed anyway so it`s Europa-America vs China.

As long as the social situation in China doesn't change, China won't be "the boss of the world". They'll be the major economic player in the world, but that's not everything, although it is of major importance.

You're absolutely right. Not only a economic potential is factor of being strongest country on the world. Just look at life level gufl between Chinese inhabitants, it's enormous. What's more, Chinese economy strongly depends on export. It doesnt seem to me that China will become a new first most powerful economy in next ten years.

I also think that they may get higgest economic numbers or they already have it, but they wont become to rule the world. Average peaople there have no life quality at all, also environment problems are getting more and more bigger. Smart girls and boys will leave their China when they discover how much better is life in USA and Europe. And talking about old people then they also will struggle into problems soon (and because of bad healtcare system and low life quality older people have much more problems and need more help then their Europe dudes):
