Hi there...this thread is dedicated to greatest sport event which has ever been organized in Slovak Republic. Here are some presentation videos about WC and country also...let´s enjoy...

no chance, this is not basketball...our NT coach is going to list whole best players from Golden generation 2002 :) we are going for the cup :)
The Championship will take place between sixteen teams from 29 April to 15 May 2011. Slovakia will host the event with games being played in Bratislava and Košice.

guys, try to be serious...try to write more than country you´re supporting...
why? the only problem in our way to take a trophy is your country :D there´s needed to set a game system to fire a CZE in semi-finals f.e. with Canada and we can win easily :D
so now serious...maybe you don´t know, Slovak republic has it´s Golden Generation in ice-hockey.
1st place in 2002 (Joteborg),
2nd in 2000 (St. Petersburg),
3rd in 2003 (Helsinki),
also they wanted to bring a medal from Olympic games in 2010, but Canada was against our plan and we finished at 4th place.
Guys around Miroslav Satan, Marian Gaborik, Pavol Demitra, Lubomir Visnovsky and Zdeno Chara has their last chance (because of age around 30) to take a medal in WC...also the best is, to win at their home scene...they have chance to be a national heroes. I believe that guys will give the best in their hearts on the ice and gonna take a trophy! :)
