You said it yourself, maybe it's because of the virus you have on your computer that makes you think it is slow. So, the problem might not be Opera at all, but what's wrong in your computer. Fix that first then see for yourself.

Also, it doesn't seem you know how to use Opera. The save password works differently than other browsers, but it is well operacional.

I've seen Opera work in several computers, with no virus or spyware, and it works as fast as in mine. It's at least as fast as Firefox and definetely faster and better than Chrome.

If we talk about speed then IE 9 is much more faster then firefox, at least in my laptop. FF has so many additional features and that is one reason why it`s popularity seems to go little bit down. IE last version on the other hand is simpel but that`s what people really want.
One part of that speed comes thanks to the hardware accelerator that IE 9 can use when running on Windows. Other browsers don`t have this extra accelerator, so new web pages that have newest design elements are remarkably slower when using other browsers, not IE 9.

I have just installed IE9 and I like it :)

Current Firefox is slower than Opera, even without any addon - at least for me.

MateuszB, if you have a virus, maybe you should get rid of it before you want to make speed tests for browsers...

I can use chrome , opera , ff all i want but on chrome when i start is some error , andy i cant use profile etc . but rest is ok . and Chrome is more more faster and I hadn't problem with any site .
