Subject: Whats the name of your National Anthem?
«Σε γνωρίζω από την κόψη/ του σπαθιού την τρομερή,/ σε γνωρίζω από την όψη/ που με βία μετράει τη γη./ Απ' τα κόκαλα βγαλμένη/ των Ελλήνων τα ιερά,/ και σαν πρώτα ανδρειωμένη,/ χαίρε, ω χαίρε, Ελευθεριά!»
«I recognize you from the dreadful/ edge of the sword/ I recognize you from the countenance/ which surveys the earth with force/ Risen from the sacred bones/ of the Greeks/ and, valiant as first,/ hail, oh hail, liberty!»
The Hymn to Liberty (Greek: Ὕμνος εἰς τὴν Ἐλευθερίαν, Ýmnos is tīn Eleftherian) is a poem written by Dionýsios Solomós in 1823 that consists of 158 stanzas and is the longest Hymn in the world, set to music by Nikolaos Mantzaros. In 1865, the first two stanzas officially became the national anthem of Greece.

german is simply called deutschlandlied (means song of germany).
est. 1922 from a song called god save emperor franz, but in germany people don´t know this. and for sure it is strange, because there was no emperor anymore in 1922.
several attempts to change and also a period were it was forbidden.
today only 3rd verse is used. the second is nearly unknown and the first was the only official in nazitime.

TURKISH NATIONAL ANTHEM
And its meaning;
Fear not! For the crimson flag that proudly ripples in this glorious twilight, shall never fade,
Before the last fiery hearth that is ablaze within my nation is extinguished.
For that is the star of my nation, and it will forever shine;
It is mine; and solely belongs to my valiant nation.
Frown not, I beseech you, oh thou coy crescent,
But smile upon my heroic race!1 Why the anger, why the rage?
Our blood which we shed for you might not be worthy otherwise;
For freedom is the absolute right of my God-worshipping nation.

Danish: "Der er et yndigt land" ---> "It's a lovely country"
Or as Wiki wants it; "There is a lovely land", but that just doesn't sound very well...
