Subject: freedom of speech

I believe that if a coach or a player gets suspended by UEFA for racism, hate speech or simmilar, then they get suspended from all competitions under UEFA's jurisdiction. So, you see you were wrong? ;)

This metaphor really doesn't work on any level for either side. Clubs as posessions, owners instead of employees, careers instead of lives.
2011-04-01 18:42:22
Yes, it works if we decide to give up on nitpicking.

Although we are called owners of our clubs here, we are not really. We are just managers making all important management decisions. We are not making a single owner's decision. Owner of the club is not a factor in this game as nobody decides whether to collect the profit or reinvest nor whether he is satisfied with our work. It is assumed that every owner wants to always reinvest all the profits and forever keep us employed as his manager. So, ownership of the club in this game is not relevant because it is on autopilot.

edit: It is called an ownership only because that is easier to sell. People are used to pay for getting an ownership and for being a manager, they are used to get paid. ;)

can we talk about sanctions?
no.
so there's nothing to say we will get nothing more than the risk for a new ban for us..

sokker is NOT similar to a democracy, with rule of law and with rights and instruments to use them..
It's more similar to a feudalistic system, in wich there are the appearance of rules, but in the end the only thing that counts is the will of emperor, his court and of his vassals! :D

In fact, Sokker is not even a feudalistic system, the moment the DEVs have enough they can pull the plug and Sokker is no more ;P

I AM GOD

Aww and so is everyone else

Again I state guys that we are not evil - users simply do not get banned for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 20 small offences.

There are some very good points being argued here and I am glad this has not turned into any sort of mud slinging contest. The point is that freedom of speech is fine, but when there are rules and users around who need protecting then we shall do so.

You would not take a child to a strip joint would you? Oh my I cannot wait for the answers now. lol

Depends on how worldly they are and the quality of stripper

(That was a joke, for those with no sense of humour. I'm sure he wouldn't care about the quality)

but when there are rules and users around who need protecting then we shall do so.

in this case rules seems to be only for protecting the staff, not users.

atleast polish users

You see that is a statement wrong on so many levels, how did what he wrote hurt me as an adult? I did not find it funny personally on many levels, some parts sick even but I certainly do not need protecting from anything?
2011-04-01 23:15:20
I don't think that's what he meant. More a reference to some kind of longstanding issue between KZ and the Polish admins. I would say that's a minor issue as this decision wasn't taken by them but I can understand why people are upset. His banning was not exactly a surprise.
