Gas prices are extremely high for estonians. I am glad to pay 1.5 € per liter if I would earn 2000-3000 € per month like in normal European countries. But our wages are probably one of the lowest in EU. I am teacher and make less than 600 € per month, meanwhile in Finland you get for the same job over 2000 €. So not a surprise that many estonians are leaving to Finland.



Can someone more intelligent explain me why it´s vice versa in Estonia, I mean our disel is more expensive than E95. In other countries diesel is cheaper.

Hungarian prices are the same as in Estonia... and the wages are the same too (or even less - as a teacher you would earn something like 500 € as a youngster just like you).
