The thing I love about Eurovision is the tactical / cultural voting. We were in a pub & arrived at voting & had not even heard the songs, yet still kept guessing correctly on who each country would vote for!

I guess there are lots of culural similarities - such as between Greece & Cyrpus, or between the ex Yugoslavian states, or Nordic states, but it is still funny.

It also amuses me that Russia with 142 million people, Germany with 80+, turkey 70+ get the same voting rights as Andorra (70,000) & Monaco (30,000 people!)

Are they going to let the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar vote? Maybe get the greek islands to vote individually!

today i have seen the eurovision 2006 songs contest again, and i still think that LT United (Lithuania) and Lordi (Finland) were the best bands, because they have created the best and the newests ideas for eurovision. Eurovision haven't ever seen songs like hard rock and our song. Don't know how Bosnia could get such a high place in Eurovision :/ in my opinion it's nothing interesting. If Finland wouldn't promote to the final i think that probably we would have won( just my opinion :))

before the Eurovision don't know why, but Spain took a big advertisment of their song :/ i think people like and want surprises, to hear new songs, like LT United, i haven't hear this song even in our cities radio, and it was an enormous surprise for all of the eurovision fans, nobody have seen that dance which was danced of one of our performers, and it was plus for us :)

btw: i liked Great Britain :) nice girls :)

Bosnia has lot neighbour countries.....all them neighbours give them 12 points.....Unfair....Bosnia had bad song...

bosnia had a nice song, and for youre information got a few points from each country that has voted. multiple that by 36 and youll get bosnian points at the end.

that couldnt be possible if bosnia got points only from ex-yugoslavian states (from which she got the most of course)

so points from countries like armenia, israel, spain...i dont know what simply tell that europe loved that song. :D

don't know what special is in that song? i think it's simple boring song :/

but you cant say that bosnia was third only because of ex-yu votes.europe somehow liked it and thats the only thing that matters.

Agree, I don`t care about Eurovision either..

Eurovision in my opinion is a "friendly" competition,example ex- sovietics vote for Rusia,the people who are not in them country vote for their country,"neighbours"country vote for the country near of them...but there are good songs...the best thing it can happen there is to create a jury from USA for example who will be neutral

Bosnia has only two neighbour Serbia&Montenegro(now two countries) and Croatia.

We got 12 points from monaco and swis to and 10 points from sweden,7 points from germany and that are not ours neighbours.

People liked our song becasue Hari is a great singer and he sang on his own language.
It would be greater if every country sang in their language.

I don`t like eurovision because former jugoslavia countries give points to each other, even though when the song sucks.
