Subject: Major panel: Drug war failed; legalize marijuana
lol Marijuana is from Satan lol . ok if we are talking religion. they mention hemp in the bible. and it is not from Satan. it comes from the ground. from a seed. god created the sea the plants the earth life. , it dont say on the bible god created these things but Satan created Cannabis lol , you are misinformed. Sasha. now if your talking booze. that is made by fermentation. man makes it. . so who would you trust nature or something man made?.No one ever died of marijiana ever since it has been used , I tell a lie one person died and that was cause some stuff was thrown out of a plane and it hit him. .also you believe what governments tell you .governments all over the world are the most corrupt organization on earth , telling people what one has to do and what one does not do. and you believe them. Sasha, you need to look at the world at a different prospective dude . open them eyes and look at the corruption the governments all over the world have been doing for years and years before i MY FATHER AND YOU WAS BORN.
ALL substances should be legally traded I'm completely against the "marihuana special case" speech. I'm completely against the "marihuana isn't that bad" speech. It's not about drugs being good. It's about each of us suiciding any way we like.
Besides that, being practical: people use drugs. Period. Whatever it does to their own health, is their problem. However, drug use has consequences to others as well, and to society as a whole (if anything, because of public health care of addicts). So, how do we handle these problems? Prohibition is a huge failure, and doom to fail. I'd rather have a strongly regulated legal production and distribution. We can't do worse anyway :P
In the end, we are only choosing between sweeping under the carpet, lousy information and mafia drug gangs vs full aknowledgement of the problem, accurate information and regulated markets (plus turning public spending into tax revenue!). I can't see a reason to choose option 1 instead of option 2.

I can see your point Don , and I can go along with what you are saying/. although Marijuana has alot of positives going for it. . it helps people with some chronic illnesses. in some states in USA people can buy it and grow it for medical use. and it does help many unfortunate people. I do agree all drugs should be legal . because this way things can be more controlled and instead of some drug ring selling you drugs laced with other drugs or toxic substances to get m you more addicted at a high price. the substances would be controlled and not full of toxins , so I am not for decriminalization . but legalization of all drugs. I can say that this way the system will have more control over what is happening . than what is happening today.
btw, I´ll just add that my "cannabis is from satan" was just a methaphor:P Sash hasn`t used such phrase:P
sorry then Sash .I hope you forgive me laughing. . I just know you obviously have not mixed with maybe people that use cannabis. probably no fault of your own. and unfortunately because of its status , criminals are involved with it. so it gets a bad name.

Thanks Zorro at least for that correction. That's a first one in my favour on the 2 controversial topics I've been tackling recently and there was quite a few prejudicial misinterpretations of my opinions and worldview. I am mostly denying wrong accusations on both of the topics and I am a bit tired of that already.
Btw, I would also never say that "cannabis is from Satan". Satan is not the creator, he's merely a misinterpreter. So, he's not that powerful really. He has influence only on people that are either affraid of him or don't know that he exists.

I am glad you are laughing. but really . look at the site I sent you to look at. also understand that have no experience with people that use it . so really you do not really know much when you are talking bout Marijuana. ?? you need to look up and read more info. about it .against anf for it. then make your own conclusion. but please have a open mind and understand , because what i have said is all true.

Due to the 'war on drugs' drugs are so expensive. Criminal organizations can make huge profit (street value = production cost * +-200)
Because of that they are very eager to sell and thus act very aggressively to reach that goal. I don't have to tell you about exploitation of columbians or drug wars in Mexico.
The harder the 'war on drugs' the higher the risk for criminal organizations and thus the price and hence the profit.
It would be a massive blow if we cut it all away and let states produce, control, sell (also VAT é ;-)) and drugs.
And if states sell it they could organize campaigns to tell the people about drugs. I guess there will be money left that can be invested in education, health care, pensions,...

I know a lot about drugs and I am telling you, I am very happy that marijuana is illegal. It should be given only on subscription when needed medically same as morphium. There is absolutely no good in it except the feeling you get in your brain and every drug does that. I mean, junkies are not stupid. They are simply weak and can't feel really good about themselves without drugs helping them.

No, Ronny. You will have the same criminals producing and selling drugs except that they will no longer be criminals but distinguished businessmen who pay their taxes.

sorry Sasha. but you have to understand one thing. and its a very important thing. your life is for you to live. and mine is for me to live. and every individual has his own path and life to live
what right does another human or group of humans tell one how to live it.especially when that individual is not harming anyone. when the time comes Ill be dead like every other one of us . so I feel one should not dictate what a person should use even if they are killing themselves . when it comes to pot I know for certain it does not kill. .it is their own life to live. and as i told you before , Sasha its all to do with money not a individuals welfare. if the governments cared about peoples welfare. lots of suffering in Zimbabwe Sudan and other countries that have very little resources would be helped by the rich countries this is not the case. because . it all about money.also I can say this. try eating tobacco after a while you will get sick . and after that you will kill your self. try drinking excessively and continue drinking . in the end it will rot your liver and kill you.try taking a over does of mor[hen smack or anything like that . it will probably kill you. once your addicted to any sort of opiate. it will make you sick when you try to get off it. now take pot . you can eat as much as you like. it will make you go to sleep . you can smoke as much as you like . it might give you lung or throat cancer ,but if you started to smoke parsley you will get the same thing. because humans were not built to smoke. but the chemical that marijuana has that makes you high .
