In the Netherlands, it is really legal, they have shops for it. Here you can have under 3 grams.

Actually, it isn't. :P We do have a weird construction by which the actually illegal can become legal. However, both drugs are listed as illegal in both lists (I & II). So, to keep it simple, it is illegal, except when the minister exempts you from the law.

Do you want to know why this was cooked up? The French had serious issues with the legality of said drugs. So something was thought of that would confuse the hell out of everybody in sight. Needless to say, the law makers succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

as far as I know, in Holland its not legal but decriminalized.in other words it is not a criminal offence if one gets caught.

French people always seem to mess things up, talk me about it :p

(To be clear, this is a joke. Every country has such kinds of laws I think.)

Quite frankly, I don't care if it is legal or decriminalized, point is you can buy softdrugs there very easily, without trouble with police etc.

I agree with you. it should not be a criminal offense in the first place. but I prefer legal . then one can do what they like . with no worries. decriminalized . means that the police wont have anything to do with someone possessing it. . but they can still refer you to a clinic. Legal. will mean. they do not mind you possessing it. and there will be no restrictions in how much you would like to possess
