Germoney has a minimum wage established now. Our referendum (minimum wage ~25$/h) was rejected by 76% of the voters. In short - no.

And im here getting 1,25€ per hour on scholarship.

I don't know the actual minimum wage, but the relevant minimum would be minijobs, 400 or 450 €/month.

Problem is, you probably have to save up money for 5 years only to be able to pay the first rent for your room here :p

Every time they are given the opportunity, people vote against socialism. It's like European integration: every opportunity given to the people to vote on that issue, they vote against it (Switzerland, Norway, France, my country, Ireland, ...).
