twats is a very nice word to describe them, I think ;) I could have used a many other words, but most probably those would have been deleted.
2016-10-21 13:40:56
I think that what yahoo means is that it's a little injuring (all) women using that word (for them, or anytime for something)
2016-10-22 09:28:15
Nah, i mean:
it's very tolerant to call ones "twats" to show your tolerance by intolerating others. Funny. And tolerant of course.
2016-10-22 10:56:37
No need to be tolerant with homofobics, racists, and those kind of people, or at least no need to be ashamed to call them twats.

Why? I mean, is it your opinion or you treat it as some kind of, let's say, universal truth? No sarcasm or sth, my question is serious.

So the same way you may think there's no need to be tolerant to them, somebody can think there's no need to tolerate homosexuality. And in this way of thinking seems pointless.
Plus i don't want to start next argument, just wondering about a little, no offence, inconsistency.

In the Netherlands one of these rainbow crossings is painted over by this guy and his friends. No problem to call these people twats.

And hating people for their sexual preferences is as ridiculous as hating others for a different skin color. This has nothing to do with an opinion or even my opinion but everything with normal social behaviour. Being homophobic is exactly the same as being a racist.

hating people
Just to get it straight - i don't wanna defend anybody, just showing my point of view.
There's a difference between hating people and hating what a person does. Every person has a dignity as a person and of course it should be respected, but it's not like this when it comes to behavior.

for their sexual preferences is as ridiculous as hating others for a different skin color
Not really. You are born with certain skin color and i dare to say it's not the same with homosexuality. What's more, i wrote about behavior. Skin color has nothing to do with it (probably :D haha sry, just joking), but sexual preferences has.
This has nothing to do with an opinion or even my opinion but everything with normal social behaviour
That's right. But the question is what in one's opinion is "normal social behavior". Btw I think that's the problem of our world - extremely subjective perception of a world, standards etc...

homophobic
Btw i never understood this word. -phobia implies some fear. And im afraid noone is talking about fear of homosexuals so wtf ;o.

And one more thing. Im just wondering how does it look in your country/countries. I mean, look, i see homosexuals shouting and yelling like they were forced to hide in sewer or wherever, but they're not. And they want some, let's say, rights, only because of their sexual preferences. I mean, guys, let's be fair: sometimes i have a weird impression they use it as an ultimate argument is cases that have nothing to do with it.

Sexual preferences is born, not made. You are not straight because you choose to be, but because you are, same for same-sex. I'm not going to discuss that.

The other part I will respond to tomorrow, now I'm going to have a quiet evening with some movie or so :)

2 compounds can influence a person: biology and social bounds (i.e. education, social exchanges, etc.).
No sexual preference gene has been discovered yet, neither has a physiological process that would explain it. Sounds like BS to me.

Imo the personal experiences you make in life and your education have much higher influence on your sexual preference than your biology.

Why could i have an opinion about sexual preference's somebody else (if i don't want to have sex with ^^)?
It's like i have an opinion about someone who dislikes orange dresses or who loves spanish food.
I can just say i'm different than him. And so?
...
I love spanish food but not if i'm in orange clothes. But you don't mind about it ... of course!

I was just disagreeing with Charles Hill. He wrote "Sexual preferences is born, not made", without any arguments...

You weren't born loving spanish food, were you?
2016-10-22 23:06:42
I don't know because my mother dressed me in orange when i was young.
2016-10-22 23:08:41
I'm not sure at all that sexual preference is born. Like believing in God or disgusting orange's juice.

... I'm not going to discuss that.
2016-10-23 09:57:10
You never really discuss anything. You just state as if you were omniscient...
2016-10-23 10:00:53
Exactly what I mean. Charles Hill on the other hand seems to be absolutely sure of it.
Next he'll tell us he is absolutely certain, that gender theory is true! :-P
