If everyone starts to look like a troll, then maybe you're the one who became a troll? ;)

Anyway, it is a holiday weekend in the Netherlands, many are celebrating Sinterklaas (a party mostly for kids).

'Sinterklaas' on his white horse and together with his helpers the '(black) Pieten', they go from door to door (or chimney) to bring presents to all children who have been nice last year, that's how the story goes. Sinterklaas knows everything, all is written in the big red book of Sinterklaas, if kids have been nice and what presents they have asked for. And his Pieten also give candy to all kids, and sometimes they throw it around.

Sinterklaas is not only a Dutch tradition, but I have no idea how many more countries actually celebrate Saint Nicholas as in the Netherlands.
