for netherland dudes, i would like fact check: is it legal to buy and smoke weed in coffee shops, but it is illegal to smoke tobacco? (genuine question)

i think you are not allowed to smoke it, rather eat as cake or some tea or something.

Smoking tobacco in pubs, restaurants and other public places is not allowed anymore, these have to be smoke-free areas. So no, it's also not allowed to smoke tobacco in coffee shops anymore. The problem is tobacco, smoking joints with pure weed and tobacco replacements is allowed, as longs as there is no tobacco in the joint. It's not that easy to check this, so rules are bent that way. Also many coffee shops have smoke rooms, just as pubs have.
