"Anyone here having a long distance relationship?"

"I guess the answer to my question from some pages ago is clearly no :P
Well maybe ljove but online relationships with porn stars don't interest me :p
"

hahahahahhahaha!! funny thing is that I had one many many moons ago, and mine experience is summed in "sounds good, doesn't work" trump gif (but I'm afraid to post trump gif because charlie here will pulverize me with some anti trump posts and I'm trying to avoid politics XD, it's sunday XD

anyway, after it ended (it ended relatively ok, clean cut, no future, fair play) i've came to the conclusion it was too much of a hassle for both parties involved (we were in our early 20) so never engaged one ever again..

anyway, what's with the question? pretty interesting one for a change (not from you, but generally speaking)

Classic story.
A friend of mine is Lithuanian but lives in Belgium for 3 years now. A friend was visiting her and well, we're dating since we met a second time.
But we live 1700 km apart.
Skype will have to do for the next weeks. We cannot think of other methods so I'm kinda looking for suggestions from people who are or were in same situation.

väinämöinenas or väinämöinenius are the answers :D
2018-02-05 10:12:15
Unless you are using it as genitive or dative. Noob :p

Yeah, I happy Im noob for lithuanian language ;) :D

With reason. :D

Belgian language has genitivs, dativs etc? niceeee :).. don't know the word for it because english doesn't have it.. mine favourite is "lokative" because it has word "lokat-iv" which has a meaning of drinking :)

anyway, 1700km :O.. shiiiiaaat... mine was about 150km but in a world were nokia 3310 were top technology (year of 2003 :O), at the time there was no social platforms (no facebooks or similar shit) so we used sms and e-mails for communication..

so, what do you need suggestions about? staying in touch, keeping the fire on, coping with the blues?
(of course, I can provide some adult links for entertainment XD)

Skype can be funny ;)

Mine was 730kms away, after a year she moved with me, married her two years later. That was in 2007. So it depends on what you want and how you see the future.

Probably best answer/advice one could give him

No possibility she'll move soon due to phd
And I am not moving to Lithuania.
2018-02-05 13:24:59
The last sentence concludes pretty much everything :) Forget about her and move on.

cmon, surely isn't that black white, we don't know how much time her phd will take (3 years?), where she will spend her summers, holidays etc., we don't know vainamonsnonsonensnnsn's reasons (dude, I know my user name is maybe difficult to pronounce but yours is impossible for me XDDD, no offense) why he won't move with her, how long they know each other, how much they click, their surroundings (family, friends...)..

but till we get more info, I share your (marcozea) opinion XDD
