Balcony is useless imho.

The one we saw was too large, but I'm used to living at the 3th floor of an apartment with free views, so some balcony would have been nice. Now I feel a bit closed in some times, eventhough we have almost no one looking in our back garden, only 1 neigborn next door. Behind our garden is parking space and bushes, no other houses. But with a balcony I would have had a place with a better view and still outside. Still have to get used to looking at a wall and not over a city.

your neighbour says, he wants to build a balcony 3 meters higher than yours, so he can have a place with a better view

You real? Balcons are awesome, especially covered. Summer rain, coffee and balcony...perfect for relaxation

I have a huge terrace for that, i dont feel the need of sitting on a balcony in front of all my neighbours crosshairs :)

I might have misunderstood something, since Charles was showing that bbq, thought we're talking about a house. Sure, an apartment balcony is a great thing, but i find it useless for a house.

I was talking about a balcony for a house, as I was used to a balcony with my apartment.

But a garden is even better, except for the wide view that I'm missing :/

So a house with a garden and an okay sized balcony (enough for 2 seats and a small table to have breakfast in the morning sun) would be double nice.

at our house we have both terrace (well, we had terrace, now it's a balcony XD), and a balcony.. so now we have 2 balconies XD.. so we are both secure when we argue but still want morning coffee XDDD
