Vladimir Putin secures landslide victory in Russian election

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/18/vladimir-putin-wins-russian-election-with-more-than-70-of-vote-exit-poll

How about that, what a surprise! Shocking, absolutely shocking. Putin winner? WOW.

Making sure your only serious rival is not allowed to be elected, helped by voters fraud, and propaganda. And winning the elections by a landslide. You would not expect it at all .....

The scary thing is, European countries following this dictatorial concept. Lets hope the sane people will stop this before the freedom to do so is taken from them.

I think the article explains very well why some countries are going the wrong way. You ofcourse blame the EU, not surprise, but in reality it's much more because of xenophobia, extreme nationalism and trusting wrong politicians. And apparently also a failing long term memory of how bad things can become when going to the wrong direction, falling for the wrong people and loosing freedom. The fall of the USSR isn't that long ago, many will remember.

and those reaction has no link with the EU regime?
That's what you fail to see, imho.
When you import too much immigrants you get an higher conflictual society.
When you open borders to free-exchanges you get higher conflictuality for work and goods.
When you impose fiscal rules you determine social pressure on lower income people.

When you build a cage you increase the violence level of those you put inside.
You can't do politics of extreme right without giving them the key of your house.

Putin > left UE

You link all to the EU, what I see is countries that are not open at all, made agreements but don't do it because they are closed to the outside even before the agreements, xenophobic. Same with freedom and rights to the people. This was before the EU and now also with the EU. Certain countries should never have joined, because of poor economics and/or because of (to my opinion) Middle Ages norms and values.

Putin is friends with the anti-EU side of Europe, the nationalists, far-rights and populists; Front National, PVV, FPÖ, Lega Nord, etc. The traitors of Europe.

So you should question the honesty of your own government. Maybe they are friends with Putin, as your government fits perfectly in his European friends group, instead of pointing to the left.

Certain countries should never have joined - we are to insignificant to understand or to change this Charles. This is the game of the big exporters of European countries, namely Germany, France, Spain. Other countries have also benefits, besides free taxation export, they have tourism (Italy, Portigak, Greece, etc).

It is the export politics of the EU, new markets, etc. It is like an economic war. The exceeded wares must leave a country towards demand and the money must in. It is the healthiest economical breath of a nation.
Why do u think Polen, Baltic Countries, Romania, Bulgaria were accepted? Why do u thing Greece is helped by Germany? Because it is a huge benefit for Germany, France and CO. They helped them with 8 bl €, but they become triple back in a few years.

Additionally free travel... Italy lives from tourism and in new accepted countries there are meanwhile a lot of rich businessmen that pass their holliday there.
And there are many more reasons why the new countries are accepted.

Other people do not want to waste their lives on eating sugar and subsequently treating diabetes and cancer.
Few people have a strong will, which envies the players and tries to discredit them in every field.
Imposing one's cannons of beauty, lifestyle and values is pure communism.
I wish you respect for exercising women.
