If it was up to me, everyone who lives up to his pension (67 years here.. or 65 not sure really XD) I WOULD BAN FROM DRIVING INSTANTLY!!

My father went to the police when he was 65yo or something, and asked them to cancel his driver's licence. Everyone looked at him like he was crazy, but he explained to them, his reflexes were rusty, his eyes were weak, and so on. But if he has the licence, and the car is parked outside, he might venture to the market. So he'd better cancel the licence and use a tram instead or walk.

Nevertheless, they didnt cancel the licence, back then they didnt have any procedure to cancel the licence by request, so he gave it to me :))
