Chelsea sells a lot tbf
And players are on low wages, that's why they get 7-8 yrs contracts. The transfer fee is then split on the contract duration

Well they just scored a big plus on madueke yes.... but over long time and in general (and especially before ffp rules) they have bought their way into being a top team
City makes a lot of money on their academy players since a couple of seasons.
Palmer, Delap, Rogers, Torres, Harwood Bellis, Trafford, Lavia, Bazunu etc.

everyone knows that and still complain about chelsea :"D yes they spent a lot but also sell a lot and have diffent strategy with lower wages and long contracts.. also first season with americans was hard with a lot spending ( cos they just buy club they can work with - in ffp without penalties).. everyone also complain about cucurella enzo caicedo and yet they become one of the best mids and lb currently.. they told ,,you cant win anything with 2 B Euros and now when we collect some cups now they talking that we expect to win with these signing players ) :"D ps they were almost youngest club 22.7 in this tournament.. also in PL were youngest ever and still finish 4th
future is bright in chelsea

Its normal for a fan to refer to the club in terms of we/us/my.... you should know this if you know about football

it's always a bit funny though, especially when it's said by foreign supporters who often haven't even seen the stadium live
particularly when it's "we" when the team is winning and "they" when the team is losing

I havent been able to visit anfield yet, but My tattoo tells me im part of the LFC family
well I can tattoo the iconic tongue on my forearm, I'm not sure it will make me one of the Rolling Stones

You can't be part of a club only from tv! And by visiting a club once, it still means nothing.
Yes, someone can support a team, but really being a part of it without ever visiting a club is just nonsense.
Paying for a full season, sitting in the rain and cold, seeing your club loose, again, wondering why you keep going to matches like these. 2 weeks later, here we go again, no matter what the weather is. Never let your team down, singing, cheering, till the end! Season after season, for almost 20 years. Nowadays a number of matches each year.

+1 again, because of the same reason above.
