Missing Beach In Jamaica
People often take off for the beach to get away from their stressful lives for a week or two, but has there ever been a case of the beach disappearing? In July 2008, that's what happened in a resort in Jamaica, where 500 truckloads of sand went missing overnight. After 13 months of investigation, not one clue has surfaced as to what or who happened to that much sand. Was it locals tired of the tourism industry? Or opposing tourism operators jealous of the beauty of the private beach?
