i dont think that finns generally drink less than slavics. they are always either mad or drunk.

but i once were in a party at the dorm where this russian dude drank ALOT of vodka or whiskey or whatever was in front of him and didnt even seem drunk whilst indoors. thats until he went outside and the night air or something made the alcohol kick in and he almost fell down the third floor, yelled at the neighbours, almost went through a door and by the time we managed to get to the sidewalk which was 3 floors down he had already pissed himself. thats the only time i have ever seen a really drunk russian :D

yeah, changing the atmosphere can make the alcohol kick in :D

same with suddenly looking at the sky, I once did it...totally sober [I mean I felt sober], was walking from club to a pub, looked straight in the sky and boom - imma drunk as hell. coffee helps though. you want to drink a lot and keep 'straight'? drink one coffee before alcohol, then drink coffee during drinking - for example one espresso every 1.5h, you will feel great. also moving around helps, if you sit while drinking, you're dead :p.

how much can you drink at a party, usually? 0.5l of 40% alcohol?
