Really weird that Clips wanted Paul. They already have Mo Williams and Billups, also Bledsoe. Why another guard. Maybe it´s an investment for future.

And why it´s so obvious that Paul won`t resign with Clippers?

He felt dissapointed that he didn't go with the Lakers and going to the Clippers is a consolation prize for him: He's going to Los Angeles but not with the "winning" side, and if Blake Griffin doesn't resign, he'll be the next Baron Davis. A big star surrounded by average players. Personally i would rather send Bledsoe to the Hornets than Gordon.

Anyway i hope CP3 and Griffin can take the Clippers to the playoffs.

What annoies me is that Clips gave away their next year 1st round draft pick. This draft is going to to be pretty strong.

It was a bad decision to trade B. Davis + 1st round pick (which got #1 pick luckily) against M. Williams. If they had picked Irving and sent him instead of Gordon to New Orleans, the Clippers would have been a contender yet. But nevertheless they will trade Williams during the season against a bigman and be a good team with amazing potential.

so long CP.. thank you for all this year..
c'mon hornets! hopefully we could go to the playoff again this season :)

Personally i would rather send Bledsoe to the Hornets than Gordon.

So would Clippers, but Stern didn't agree :)

Actually they gave away Minnesota's pick(unprotected as well). They got it from Minny when McKhale traded Casell +pick for Jaric. It was lottery protected for 5 years and became unprotected this year. Not smartest move by Kevin McHale :D
This pick was just as important as Gordon for NOH. So NOH will have two lottery picks this summer along with Gordon. Could be bright future for that franchise even if it's hard to see it now :)

Clippers own pick is owned by Boston. Pick is top 10 protected, but as Clippers is a play-off team this year, Boston gets to keep it. How cool would be to draft Austin Rivers with that pick! Father and son in the same team....

If Clippers would have not traded Davis, clippers season record would have been different. Lottery would have worked out differently and there is no way you can tell if clippers pick would have been nr 1. For me it's hard to imagine why clippers couldn't make that trade with draft pick protection(even top 3 protection would have been great) but that's different story...

The Clippers have proven their hype. Only 20 minutes or so for the starters and they destroyed the Lakers, they had to bring Kobe and Pau to lessen the humiliation. It's only the preseason, but i am truly amazed by the Clippers.

New York Knicks open 66th season in NBA with win 106-104 against Boston Celtics.

Watched it. Boston had several chances to tie the score in the end.

Unfortunately Miami is killing Dallas at the moment.
