oh and i see that boston is allowed two picks the first round,
because of a trade with the clippers
because of a trade with the clippers
Today's the NBA Draft. Houston has been making trades to get to the top 10, even if they have three picks for the first round.
decent pick by new orleans.. geaux hornets! :)
@Sealand
ray allen oficially joined the heat now.
:/
and the nr.1 draft pick is a unibrowed PF who is decent in defence
and is picked by the New orleans Hornets.
I don't know what is worse:
1. having a unibrow or 2. getting drafted by the hornets
:D

Nicely is going on in the NBA .. Johnson went to the Nets for five players .. Howard is to be replaced by three players (Humphries and Brooks Lopez). Ben Gordon is in the Charlotte Bobcats. Mo Williams went to the Jazz.
what's your problem with the hornets?
they are a good team. go to the playoff quite often. then, lots of hornets players play in All-Star team and also in another big teams too.
just because you support a big team doesn't need to say something lowly about another teams.

They are rebuilding, that is all. But it's going to be hard to replace a guy like Chris Paul, that is going to take at least two seasons to complete rebuilding.
The Clippers need to get more guys: Lost Reggie to the Nets and Mo Williams in a trade for Odom that i think the Clippers are on the losing side since Mo was THE sixth man. Also lost Nick Young to the Sixers, they need to get Elton Brand and re-sign K-Mart or at least get a good backup Center since DeAndre Jordan isn't going to go somewhere else.

Further information on the great exchange, in which the part is Dwight Howard. Outline of the entire exchange:
Magic get: Brook Lopez, Damion James, Sheldon Williams [all Brooklyn Nets] + Luke Walton [Cavaliers] + 3 picks in the 1st round
Nets get: Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark [All Magic]
Cavaliers get: Sundiata Gaines, Kris Humphries [both Nets], Quentin Richardson [Magic], pierwszorundowy pick + 3 million in cash [the Nets]
The fourth team will MarShon Brooks, and in return will give a 1st round pick who will go to the Magic.
Propably the fourth team is Clippers :)

They'll have Billups and Craford as well...It seems perhaps Marshon Brooks as well. They do need reserve centre- of course, but they kind of replaced K-mart and some of Evans minutes with Odom who is hopefully more motivated next season.
NO has great young core with Gordon, Anderson, Davis and Rivers. Their rebuilding process have came out quicker than I thought.
Things are looking up for my Minnesota and it will be fun to root for another year of tanking by Bobcats. Biyombo is my pet player since I read about his story half year before 2011 draft and saw what kind of spark this guy has in his eyes. I do think they did well not drafting Robinson and I really believe in GM Cho and his new hire- head coach Mike Dunlap(seems kind of poor man's Thibs to me, which is cool).

As already talking about Minnesota, I wonder how this will play Brandon Roy, who returned to the NBA.
I have no idea...It seems like a reasonable risk for 5 mln as second year is team option. He had this "secret kobe surgery" in Germany + stem cell treatment + rest, but it can get you just so far... But according to Roy he's pain-free and says the last time he played pain-free, was before his junior season at Washington. He also moved his family to Minnesota and expects play there lot more than his current 2 year contract, so that all give me some hope that he'll be able to play good 20 minutes a game with limited back-to-back games, but will be there for fourth quarters to end the games, going to lead the bench team and be a great leader off the court. Pacers are matching Hibbert, so that gives me some hope that Portland won't match Batum. Then we can sign Shved, Stiemsma, Tolliver and we are good to go!
yeah, 2012 wasn't a good season for hornets, trying to cope with the CP3 transfer. but now they've got a decent draft picks.
Well see how it with Roy. Marcus Camby went to New York, and Ryan Anderson went to the Hornets.
Blake Griffin signed a five year, $95 million extension. I'm pleased and amazed that Donald Sterling was willing to offer that amount of money.
Alexey Shved has signed 3 year contract with Wolves...
