Yeah, forgotten about Verma and Fellaini. Don't know much about the rest, all I know is that Courtois is said to be extremely talented and got the goalkeeper of season award at age of 18 or 19...

How the buggery f**k did Norway end up in the top seeds group? They haven't qualified for the world cup since 1998 and the Euro's since 2000. Seriously look at the teams in Pot 2, at least half of them are vastly superior.

Its pure math i guess, they were leading in Uefa Euro 2012 qualification group and were ranked 11 in the world, tho i think they have now lost some places.

Luck. Easy competition in private national fixtures. And we have a good home statistics. But we shouldn't be in the top seed. But we are underestimated in national games. Last year we beated Slovakia, Portugal, Ireland and France. This year not so good. We have an divine coach. A genious, a mixture between Sir Alex and Brian Clough, only better.

I guess good results in friendlies and good results in quals...which is possibly even when you don't qualify...especially as they can qualify to Euro 2012. In 2004 they've made it to playoff game, but were defeated by Spain. Same in 2006 - playoffs against Czech Rep. In 2008 they've missed the tournament by 1 point.
