I guess good results in friendlies and good results in quals...which is possibly even when you don't qualify...especially as they can qualify to Euro 2012. In 2004 they've made it to playoff game, but were defeated by Spain. Same in 2006 - playoffs against Czech Rep. In 2008 they've missed the tournament by 1 point.

We have a complete idiot. Seriously. After we've lost 0:6 to Spain he said that his 433 with no defensive mids was a good tactics. It went like this "The tactic was good, but the players failed. I will find new players for this tactic." Complete weirdo.

We have Egil Olsen. He was the coach in the nineties. We had to bring him after lousy results a few years back. The result improved immedately.

Olsen has sometimes been called a "football professor" for his scientific approach to the game, and was arguably one of the first managers to use video analysis of matches.[citation needed] He has collected statistical data to find out which playing styles are the most efficient. As Norway manager, he argued that as Norway didn't have the players to beat the best teams, they needed a smarter playing style than them, and one that fit Norway's skills. Ironically, his preferred style of football has historically often been called primitive.

Mertens (moved to PSV for a large sum) and Chadli (Twente) are both good wingers in the Eredivisie.
Mignolet is a very talented keeper who has been bought by Chelsea and immediately sent out on loan at Atlético. Mignolet, however, is our n°1 choice in goal. He plays well for Sunderland.

What kind of tactic does he use?

He is the guy who almost made Norway nr 1 country in the world by FIFA ranking in 93 or 94 or something? :)

He is pretty underrated coach indeed.
Tho he hasnt been that successful in other places, only with Norway.

Correct. Coached Iran and Wimbledon. No luck. He need to know his players and he needs time to evolve the team.

Who is Polands preferred goalkeeper at this time?
2011-07-30 23:03:27
Szczęsny and Fabianski - both playing for Arsenal

Our 'awesome' coach decided to end Zewlakow's and Boruc's carreers :D
Wasilewski is out of NT, same with Smolarek...

@Karsten
That's nice, we have an old coach in Poland - Orest Lenczyk. He uses similar system with great results. He took over Slask Wroclaw when they were in lower parts of the league, with almost no stars and almost won the league with them...now he eliminated Dundee from Europa League and made a great 1st leg against Lokomotiv.

Our main GK is Szczesny and I think that it's a good idea, though he is still weaker than Boruc in my opinion.

Lucky Switzerland. :-) Both teams from pot 1 and 2 within our range. Rest seems very balance, Iceland probably the strongest team of the 6th pot.

As I thought. I am a Gooner. I hope Szczęsny does good this season. Very promising.

My norwegian team, SK Brann, has a polish keeper. Piotr Leciejewski. He had a bad start at the season.
