France has no chance, given the team they come up with...
England will make smae mistakes as ever..how can they ever beat NZ or Aus?
SA is not in shape this time...but they can surprise as some players are comin in fresh.

i will enjoy watching the ''lesser'' teams such as japan, usa and Georgia. :)
I understand but mostly on this highest level it is disappointing..when you see them play in b leagues you can think they are good enough..and now you might see that thwey do not fit the bill.
i'm pretty sure some of those teams will get a surprise victory (like Italy over France at last 6 nations) but probably none of them will move on if they havent luck when it comes to other team's results :)
Apparently rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the USA thesedays. I wouldn't be surprised if within 2-3 WCs they have at least a competitive team.
You can never completely count out England. Appeared in the WC final more than any other country.

no never count them out....in play they can beat any team....but they always play with many mistakes...a sort of diffrent style than the southern hemisphere teams...
If they can keep it tight and compact ...but the other teams have superior speed and will try to not let them have it their way....
Still, I always feel that Big England is the team to beat, so always I support the underdogs,a I like the english to be beaten on their sports....hahahha
but fair enough if they play well the best team may always in...but those mistakes!

No you haven't :P. Australia has also been in 3.... Rephrase it to no other team has appeared in the world cup final more than England and it will be corrected :).
In saying that, history shows that if you exclude the 1987 world cup, Australia either loses to England or wins the WC, so England are definitely not to be ruled out of contention for this world cup.
The only thing that concerns me a little, is past 2 world cups England has knocked out both France and Australia, and it's quite possible it could happen again this year if France finish 2nd in their group, England 1st and Australia 1st.

Romania really had the chances. Every scrum was lost by Scotland. What a horrible wind there was for penalties and conversions though Oo
