i know any turkish supporters love referees but you have advanced so don't tell me that you were better in this game than poland but referees wanted you to lose ;p

Sadly Nowitzki is not in the best form because of all the games in the NBA.

I think this is less of a problem for us. One (or two with Kaman) very good player(s) is just not enough on this level.
We're struggling a lot on the smaller positions, mainly on the point guard. This kills us in every game. :-(

Phew, what a thriller again. Fortunately we still have a chance for the quarter-finals after this win against Turkey.

It was a great game. Kaman is great, imo one of the best centers in this tournament. Sad is that your backcourt really sucks. You need a solid playmaker who doesn`t make stupid decisions. If you had one, then Germany would be really strong.

For me it was a little surprise that France managed to win after poor 3rd quarter. Nando de Golo saved the day this time. Tony Parker is imo the best player in this tournament. Dude is really amazing. Great ballhandler and has so many different offensive moves.

I agree. Our backcourt sucks big time. The only reliable guy in there is Schaffartzik imo. He can dribble, pass and shoot 3 pointers. Everyone else can do only one of the three at most ;-)
I'm also really happy with Kaman so far. He shows amazing footwork and agility in the paint. That's pretty impressive.
Nowitzki on the other hand has a hard time. So far all opponents really focused their defense on him and at times it's pretty rough I think. However, that was to be expected. We don't have enough decent players to really use this as an advantage though.
