Subject: Buying an xBox 360?

After experiencing multiple problems with my PS3, my loyalty and patience has worn thin enough, and I am thinking of making the leap to the xBox

Looking at them though, it seems that many are available, some with higher gb than others... Is this processing power, or simply storage space? Will games run smoother on the better versions of the 360? And are some likely to perform better or worse online?

i have both the xbox and ps3 and i feel that xbox is better in every way (apart from playing dvds) :)

the new xbox just have bigger storage size and are 'less likely' to have problems with then. ;)

hmm seems it just got closed and thanks a mill to the mod who forwarded it on to me

all the same.
higher storage space is all it is mate
the newer model has inbuilt wifi. the older ones dont (you buy an addon for 50 quid)

a good bet would be get a second hand one in my opinion considering.. though ofc most people prefer new like myself.
i have never seen an issue with running games. you can install them so it runs off the harddrive even (but you still need the disc to load it, to stop you just installing them and selling the game :P) benefits of this is that the xbox is quieter when running as the disc doesnt spin as its not being loaded off.

as for problems. i have never had one with xbox. mates had issues with the red ring when it first came out but the newer models hafnt got that issue. and its under warranty for 2-3 years anyways i think

online, they are all the same. depends on your connection more than anything. once you arent working off satellite broadband everything is grand.
xbox live is a paid for service. costs 7euro a month there last i paid or 60 a year i think at the moment, theres always deals going also, but its an awesome service really.
after that it depends on individual games settings.
call of duty loads into game pretty instantly, halo takes a few minutes sometimes. when u get it hit me up for my gamer tag anyways.
