Try Dragon Age: Origins. Planescape Torment maybe.

Dragon Age seems like it's in the right direction, but the review movie you attached says that the controls are poor.

...although Dragon Age II seems to have solved this problem. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks :)

there was one very similar to baldurs gate, though old... I just cant remember the name...starts with A...

or you can always go back to classics like fallout1 and 2

oh yeah, it was Arcanum. I think is newer than baldurs gate as well

The controls are just fine. If you want an 'old style' RPG, I would definitely opt for dragon age: origins. Also, if Baldur's gate is your last experience, have a look at neverwinter nights.

I don't really see the problem.

If soemone named their child Adolf, no one would care.
Bu if they say that they chose the name after Hitler, everyone would go berserk.

Anyhow...

CAn anyone tell me if there is a way to resurrect Lyla(the girl you get from Jarl of Windhelm as your "bodyguard".

I accidentaly shouted her to oblivion when fighting some conjurers.

I didn't need a party in Baldurs Gate. I made it through the game and killed Sarevok with a mage/thief/warrior. Was more fun to make it alone. Baldurs Gate is still one of my all-time-favorites, because of the good Forgotten Realms adaption.

I'm sorry for hijacking this topic too, but those memories are pretty good... ;)

Well, it was a contest (?) to name the child Davokhiin if its born on the 11/11/11 and this is kind of sad for me,they just want publicity are the games :D the name is ok, but Dragonborn would be fuc...g awesome :D

Can those companions actually die? Few times saw them on minimum health and then the opponent just goes away and had one unfortunate encounter with two giants, run way, but she stayed and i guess was kicked in the air (love that bug) thought she died, but after i went back to the keep, she was back.

one fun part about companions is when you "command" them to do something..

i was in a dungeon, there was this "switch" which closed one door (keeping you inside the room) and opening another door in the outside (which you need to open to go further in the dungeon).. so i tought she could pull the switch for me, i asked her... but she replyed "i cant do that"

what are you retarded? :D

save, beat one up

Did a finisher on one by accident :P

you can kill the less important ones, like Ria or whatever her name is
but I don't think you can kill any from the circle

not that I didn't try :P

well she was dead..

I could loot here, and i kicked her around a bit with Thum.. she didn't wake up... So she def. wasn't sleeping.

Made a mage class. Kinda wussy tbh, beat a draugr wight by running in circles away from it.

how do i get an armor out of dragons loot? how many should i kill to have enough material? murdered 3 dragons til now..
