You shouldn't die at the lowest lvl, I think the best way is to check youtube for some tips and trick, tutorials, if you have no idea ...

i am at level 10 now,you should put some armor on you and one handed weapon + sheld

i think if you go straight for the main story you get pwned pretty soon at normal difficulty.. You should try also to accomplish some side quests between the main ones

im pretty new in the elder scroll games, but now i just bought a great PC, and its a great one!:)
i have a question about making potions:
when i enter alchemy lab, there i can put into 2 ingredients+1 optional. usually i put into anything, it fails... but i have 1 succeed too:0 i think somehow i should get some recipes? or just try forward?
i reallz dont want to google for recipes, it should foung somewhere in the game, am i right?

thanks

you can find recipies, but there's no need to. just try different things.

the first two are main ingredients that determine whether the potion making will fail or not, the third one makes it stronger/adds another effect.

basically try comparing different ingredients. those that work/might work are highlighted after you choose the first one, those who are 'in shadow' are those who were tried already with the ingredient you've chosen and failed.

also, when you make a potion, then it will be 'saved' so you can prepare it automatically by choosing the name of the potion on the left [under the name Ingredients].

Strength is based on Alchemy.

Each ingredient has 4 effects. If your potion has 2 (or maybe 3) ingredients that have the same effect, that is what the potion will produce.

Ie - three items have damage magicka regen.
Therefore you will make a poison of magicka regen.
If you eat an ingredient, you learn one of its effects (and feel it too)

Ok, end for me.. for some time biegn at least.

Highest lvl character was 37 Nocturnal agent, THief guild master.... and just visited greybeards...

It's Oblivion all over again. Have many different characters who have completed their respective factions(thieves guild, fighters guild, mages guild etc) but barely touched the main quest.

Much like Oblivion, i will probably fire up Skyrim again in a month or so and finish the main quest...

It's a good thing though, isn't it?
Playing lots of hours, having amazing fun...without doing the main thing :)

Without a doubt...
No question...

Only other game where i have sunk as many hours in as the Elder Scrolls series is Diablo 2.

I mean this whole series has so much replayability(is it even a word?).
I have picked up Morrowind and Oblivion so many times and played them in so many different ways.
It's def. going to be the same with Skyrim. Love the series and love Bethesda for the amazing work.
