Subject: Skyrim

I know how it works, but it seems utterly stupid to leave a glitch almost in the beginning of the main quest [the one when the old guy in the sewers doesn't open the doors], especially as all that is needed to fix it is to copy paste one simple file from one folder to another

Just found out you can use carriage to 'discover' new cities.. sigh cost me hours I think to ride around on my horse to find an undiscovered city.

anyone who can tell me a bit more about the bugs on PS3.

I've seen lag in singleplayer, save files overgoing 10 000 MB and more problems.
I know they are working on this, but is there a chance this will ever be solved, so you can play the game 100% without bugs where you can't complete a quest...

most of the bugs can be fixed by leaving the dungeon and returning...

savefile were bad alright apparently, but i think that was fixed, was only in the primary release. and it was with savefiles above 6Mb only even

you will have to find out off someone who has ps3 versoin, but i dont believe there are issues anymore alright :)

ofc there are still bugs galore. i had a few so far... but the game makes up for it and most of them are just amusing :D

I haven't noticed any major bugs that prevented me from finishing the main quests (main plot, companions, dark brotherhood, magic academy, thieves guild all finished and also reached lvl 81). Also there are no more lags and (almost) no freezes with the latest patch, but I have switched all autosave functions off. I can definitely recommend it on ps3 :)

indeed. iv just started dark brotherhood. knew they were assasin questss didnt want to do them until i had done most others incase i killed someone who cud give me a quest. some of the stuff is mad.
i got a bounty because mudcrabs saw me kill someone. the bounty was removed when i killed the last mudcrab i was like wtf...
then again u can talk to animals in it haha.. anyways im way off topic here.

Level 81? The highest I ever got was 42 or so, I think. By that time I one shot anything I come across without trying. On master difficulty, that is. It's just too easy to boost weapon damage.

I should play this game more often? I have it since 2 months, still no higher than level 17 :p

sure. 81 is max level also until they bring out expansion i believe.

you just need to focus on stuff for a bit to level. everytime u increase a level buy 5 levels off someone pickpocketing them as you do.

i went n stood beside 2 giants hammering me in armor to level that up a bit. also brings up restoration :)
if you get 4 items with 25% restoration reduction u can do those things very easy.
im on 70 light armor (perk no weight so i can pick up bandits stuff no problems) heavy probably close to max as its what i use. blocking i guess this way also. ill do that soon.
sneak is easy level hitting people with really high health e.g the greybeards from behind with weapon, then using heal on them also. they stay in same position for like 2 levels, but annoying if they catch u so i saved every few levels.

pickpocket, lockpicking are time to level up. same as one and two handed archery, just focus on the game and they slowly rise, pull out a bow when u get time.
illusion just keep using muffle. alteration buy to level 50 (i honestly dont know much other ways.. it levelled really slow for me) then get invisibility and do like muffle.

its easy level up fast using all these...
oh and speechcraft.. levels as it does. or in riften in maven blackrbiars place the person behind counter u can persuade and bribe constantly for ~30 mins to level up to 100. just keep bashing talk lol

Is the game a bit challenging for an experienced player?

I mean are there difficult quests or can you set a difficulty level or something?

Don't worry, I know how to do it. It's easy enough. It's just that after a certain point the game becomes really quite easy. Even on Master difficulty. Playing on and gaining levels becoems a chore from that point onwards.

Master difficulty is pretty tough if you haven't got a companion.

once you have restoration skills etc its not much of a challenge alright.
just heal and keep killing. especially with good armor so healath goes down really slow its not hard do.
the game is always going to be like that. the whole point is to get to a poing where you are overpowered. and you can easy do that when u focus on skills and forge awesome weapons etc :)
