Subject: SOPA - Stop Online Piracy Act

2012-01-22 12:13:11
I hope you don't actually believe that.

I am against SOPA, but not because it wants to deal with the illegal stuff on the internet.

+1

@mjakk
Well...it will take you less time and will be much more secure to do it on gmail - you can send yourself a mail with a zip file as well ;-)
2012-01-22 12:21:19
But free dropbox is pretty small :(
2012-01-22 12:22:01
My thesis is 130 mb (in the zipfile). Too big to send it by gmail, but small enough for a free dropbox account.
2012-01-22 12:25:56
how big is this dropbox thing? it sounds quite useful as I work with same files both on my laptop [when at home] and my netbook [when at library] and getting all files in sync was driving me crazy, especially when I forgot to do so before I went to the library...
2012-01-22 12:27:37
It is 2GB. You can assign folders that will automatically be synchronized.
2012-01-22 12:30:34
and that's not big enough for mcLanghe? lol :p

sounds great, will open an account out there, thanks for info

just one question left, is it secure? can anybody access my files without my permission?
2012-01-22 12:34:36
false propaganda
2012-01-22 12:37:15
It's almost as secure as your mailbox, I'd say. I think you can accidentally make files public, but I haven't checked that.
2012-01-22 12:38:07
now tell me is there someone who works in any part of this chain
2012-01-22 12:38:41
sounds fine, thanks a lot!
Now tell me, how is that relevant to the false picture you posted here?
how do you know it is fake ?
2012-01-22 12:54:59
He doesn't. But neither do we know whether it's true.
You actually believe the band gets less than 1%?
