Ok, before anybody gets offended, let me explain that I still like sokker better than UM. I will stay loyal to sokker as long as enough people keep playing to make the game competitive and fun. I'm starting this because I have noticed in the USA community a lot of the regular players in a-league and major league have either left, are going to leave soon, or are enjoying UM more than sokker. I looked on the thread that always shows current number of users in sokker and back in 2010 sokker had almost 80,000 users. Today, they are down to 55,000 users. I think there is a definite downward trend and now that another game has arrived that is as good as or maybe even better, players are slowly migrating to this new game. In my opinion it is only a matter of time. Hopefully, this thread can highlight this problem and encourage the devs to make sokker improvements a priority. I would love to see sokker improve and grow to the amount of users it once had. My answer to this poll is #2. If enough people leave, I will as well. I already have an account at UM and I will begin splitting my time between sokker and UM evenly. Thank you.

Also, if you would choose to play both equally, then vote option #3.

what kind of match engine? 3d or even better in 2d than sokker?
Trainingsystem? Skills? Tactic?

I dont play ultimate manager, so I vote for 3rd option. :)

There should be another option, like "I'll play both", 'cause thats exactly what I do.

Voted for #3 - I am aware of UM, but dont have an account there. But if sokker will be closed (hopefully it wont happen in the near future), I might give it a try.

Decreasing users number - thats the problem, what all similar games (including the almighty Hattrick.org, where I have an account) has to suffer. I really hope, that sokker will survive those hard times and start growing soon. (The possibility isnt very big, but still. Sokker is the best online football game for me and many others)

Not the best one to ask, but it seems they have a better training system (can train 11 players on any skill individually). They have a 3d match engine, but in my opinion it is not as good to watch as sokkers but it is close. It is better when it comes to players not making stupid passes out of bounds. The youth system is better. You actually get to see the players individual skills improve throughout youth school and you have to decide which type of player he is depending on which skills improve faster. From what I have read they have recently improved their tactics to be better than sokker. Such as throwin, goal kick, and corner tactics. However, I haven't personally experimented with this yet, so I'm not 100% sure on this.

I opened an account in UM a year ago and I stopped playing in a month. The most important thing match viewer is much worse than Sokker's. Also, skills and training system are much more complicated and tactic editor is much more simple.
I keep an account also in ManagerZone but I rarely watch matches there. Stil, I think MZ has a better perspective than Ultimate Manager.

They improved tactics editor. Now it have much more options than sokker tactic editor...

lol, the terms of use and policy statements are both in Italian language. Also, it is impossible to register at this moment.

I'd gladly leave sokker if something better arised in the market, but UM sucks ;-)
