Subject: online shops - cheaters

On 26.9.2011 I have ordered watch for about 230 Eur from chinese online shop http://www.salientshop.com and I still did not receive any watch and any money back.

They dont answer and dont reply my emails, what I have to do?

In this head topic I can always add new names and urls of online shops cheaters if you have some bad experience with them.

Easy. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, and don't order from any website without checking it is real deal.

Depends how you paid. I don't know what card laws are like in your country, but here if you pay on a credit card any amount over £100 you can make a charge back on the credit card as they are jointly liable. It is also possible to make a charge back on a visa debit card aswell which you would go through your bank for. If you paid paypal same thing again.

Search for chargeback on your paypal website, I think something should come up then.

How did you find out about the place? Via some forum or website? If so try to leave a complaint there. These kind of webshops are sensitive to negative publicity. Try to hit them where other people can see it. They might me more inclined to make it up to you then.

If you write to paypal about this they will refund or sure. I had personal experience with one incident and paypal did refund. For this to happen though you must have made payment through paypal saying its for payment of goods.

lots of cheap knockoffs. i have ordered off ebay from hongkong though and thing worked fine

Pretty much the point from that is to use a platform before buying such as ebay rather than buying direct. Can be a bit hit and miss quality wise, and should never order anything with a plug socket on it because electricals are not something you want to be hit and miss.
