Some people tried to, needless to say that they were instantly removed. Long live freedom. But what do you aspect from a country where being gay is enough to get totally beaten up by some random guys on street.

But not every state beats up journalists who are critical about the 'president' Aliyev. Europe should be ashamed for participating in this show.
You know what I mean don't you ? Sure it could happen in any random country. But the are certain country's where this happens a lot more.

Ah well politics. The European Championship in Ukraine is similar thing, but I am going to watch it anyway. A boycot would not help anybody.
You are right about Ukraine, but there's not much you can do about it...
But organisations like ESC or Euro 2012 creates the possibility for the people in charge to pretend nothing is wrong in the country. That's why Ukraine should never have been appointed as host, just like Azerbaijan should not be able to host the ESC.
If the ESC or Euro 2012 weren´t organized by those countries we wouldn´t even be discussing it.

Sweden and Dennmark have good songs. I bet Sweden wins if Montenegro, Russia and other such countries political neighbor voting don't have very big influence.
