Subject: Ready for the most racist tournament ever?
yep, okay, i understand what do u mean ;)
well... accepted by people? accepted by law?
i'll probably shock you, but i guess none of those.
of course those hitler-thing-dudes are dumb, especially singing some songs about auschwitz (like they didn't know that poles died and suffered there too lol)
@dutchie: as i wrote somewhere before. you don't live here so okay, believe documentaries made by people who think that czech rep. is austria and yugoslavia still exists :D:D:D.
aswell i could say that your country equals immigrants, gays, shemales, junkies etc.
btw - don't know why so called journalists don't make such documentaries about leftist psychos, who show banners with face of this murder guevara, hammer and sickle or a red star

No you didn't. You see, I didn't pick sides here. I'm just saying your argumentation is worthless. Like this.

Sure you do. First of all, some do, but most journalists are leftists themselves ;-)

You made up a word (or probably someone else) and tried to let it sound sophisticated because it is latin. Love it.
It's bullshit
No, it is the sad truth. Whether or not people feel safe doesn't change a thing about the very obvious and incredibly widespread racism, homophobia and nazism. None of which is properly dealt with by either government. I could cite a ton of scientific research to support this, but I take it you know it. After all, you live there. It's part and parcel of Eastern Europe and Russia so you can't not have noticed.

that was my point... i lived there too... and i know how things are... even if many people dont go around spreading racism, many of them still support it inside... im talking even about people who dont even realise how racist they are, because u live in such environment like that, its just impossible not to be at least a bit racist. I was like that, i thought of myself as the most liberal person ever, and only when i came to uk, i realised that it was actually not entirely true...
cut or not, these videos were taken, and u can clearly see police not giving a fuck about it.... and then roman salute... well just proves my point....
I wish i was wrong but i have a bad feeling about this, and its not only poland, ukraine who would suffer the consequences, sadly wed be instantly grouped with them if anything like that happens..
main concern is not that those people exist, because they exist everywhere, but that other people surrounding them, and mainly police whose job is to protect, dont rly give a shit...

Look Schepel, when was the last time you've been to Poland? When was the last time you've been at a Polish game...?
I can give you LOTS of examples of nazism, racism etc. from Spanish, Italian and British stadiums.
*Italy: people singing "no black guy can be Italian, if you jump Balotelli will die"
*Italy: Another news of European racism in football broke out when Ivorian defender Marc Zoro was abused by the visiting Inter Milan supporters with strong fascist views. Ex-Lazio player Paolo Di Canio found himself in deep waters after making the fascist salute to the Lazio fans in the stadium. Now with the World Cup just around the corner FIFA President Sepp Blatter has said that they will simply abandon the match if they find any element of European racism happening in the stadium which would affect the sports and individual leagues drastically.
*Spain: The monkey chants that greeted Black English players at the November 2004,Spain v England game were sickening. A significant number of Spanish fans were involved in this odious behaviour. It followed Spanish Coach Luis Aragones earlier racist remark that Thierry Henry was a black shit.

Spain:
Racism in Europe once again came into the spotlight in 2006 when Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o suffered racial abuse by fans of Real Zaragoza. Fans began to make monkey chants and verbal abuse and Eto’o finally threatened to leave the pitch in protest but was finally calmed down by his teammates. In another European racism event Atheltico Madrid was fined 600 Euros for racial comments against Espanyol’s Cameroon goalkeeper Carlo Kameni and Deportivo La Coruna.
England:
Netherlands: At a board meeting of Ajax Amsterdam last summer, Johan Cruijff, the father of Dutch football, told his fellow board member Edgar Davids: "You’re only here because you’re black." Cruijff later shrugged off the remark: "'The baldie, that squinter, that redhead,' what does it matter? That's spoken language in football." Indeed it is, in most countries. Cruijff soldiers on merrily as Ajax’s guiding light.
Netherlands: ""Hamas, Hamas, Joden aan het gas!"" - I guess you recognise this chant of Feyenoord's supporters...?
I live in Warsaw and I see black people in the libraries, at the university, on the streets, in pubs etc. and till now I've only seen one racist incident when some drunk idiots started laughing 'look, there's a monkey'. And when it happened, they were rapidly approached by a police patrol.
I haven't seen any Polish politican who made an anti-semitic statement, or racist statement
there is one popular politican who has weird ideas, but his party never gets elected
we have black people if our parliament, homosexuals, transsexuals
so please, don't start with such bollocks like 'anti-semitism in Poland is accepted, even supported by politicans'
ok there are shemful gestures and chants, but most of them is clear bullshit
or example, when Wisla plays Cracovia [Krakow derby], the Wisla ultras sing that Cracovia is a Jewish club, the insult them etc. but on the other hand they have no problem in supporting Jewish players from Wisla [Dudu Bitton and Omar Melikson]
one more thing, the BBC material is totally manipulated
for example they have made many more interviews, for example with one Jew who plays for Polonia Warsaw - and he said that he never witnessed any anti-semitism, he feels completely safe and likes living in Poland. This part, like many other, was CUT from the material. Why? Because then the material wouldn't be interesting.
Please, remember one thing - when you watch a documentary, even a BBC documentary, you always should use critical thinking. Don't take what they tell you for granted, because we live in an era of media manipulation and with good skills, a lot of money and time you can make basically any documentary that you want to.
Quote from Israeli user, guy_fink:
"There are several players from Israel that play in the Polish league this days, and I can confirm that none of them said that he feel racism against him ."
But of course, you guys are from the good and proper western part of Europe and you know better :]
I guess that you're one of those guys who say that there were Polish concentration camps, eh? Good for you.
also these 'Jew attacks' during stadium chants etc. are rubbish

He was suspended for that.
He was suspended for that.
Ohayon is one thing
Dickson Choto was one of supporters favourite players when he was in form
I won't even talk about Kenneth Zeigbo, he's a legend
but yeah, Dutchies know better that we are a horde of antisemitic racists
@Levitate
He was suspended for that.
the fact that he got suspended doesn't change the fact that he was racist

It doesn't matter if he's racist. The point that Schepel is trying to make (I think) is that in Western Europe, racism and homophobia are less tolerated. (And again, I didn't pick sides here!)
