what u didint mention is that supporters were throwing bananas in this game? what was done about that? - nothing match continued
But in my view its not the problem of racism, its lack of education/stupidity
I don't think so.
there are a fascist european movement that is rising.
Some people is using stupidity of people to manipulate them, and for this mission he needs a strong oppository and militar ideology to run this stupids.
If you look at it with an historical overview you'll find a lot of similarity between our europe and prenazi germany (crisis, lack of work, ethnic/racials problems, religion hate and production eccess)
you may can have an idea of why, those movements are rising (everywhere) and where they will lead us.
Stupidity lead a day here another there.. if I get the same ideology in every city of europe, in every stadium, in every football/basket/etc match..
it will be really stupid to not recognize what is it.
It's racism, but it's not only itself, it's something useful for leading us elsewhere from democracy!

lol, u complain about bbc geographical knowledge???
fans in the match u pointed out were singing that Brazil is in Africa... - bbc at least got the continent right
If i were u, I would carefully check what I show next time
and i havent even heard of it for so many years.... now imagine this happened elsewhere like in a permier league... cant even imagine the consequences, club would probably get relegated or fans would be banned for at least a season

According to the movie. there is much bigger problam in Ukraine :(
But I know someone that is investigating all of this Hooligans football fans in Germany (mostly) and I can say that over there you can find Nazi skinheads groups too.
BTW, Boroks to say that its in small cases in Poland is to close your eyes, you probably saw this sign when Hapoel Tel Aviv played in Warsaw not long ago
FIFA fined legia but the polish government decide not to do anything :(

8 months in jail for racist remarks and insulting the prime minister
Are you trying to make an argument with thát? ;-)
It's not about jail time (I'm against jail time for racism), it's about Polish FA doing something.

pls read carefully, i dont say that they dont exist, the problem lies in the way we deal with those people

Polish government did well then. It's the Polish FA who should have done something. It seems like some people don't make the distinction between the public Polish government and the private Polish FA.
Legia should at least be excluded from European football with that banner.

that is just shocking.... thousands of them...
and we have to assume none of them will turn up?
ticket price? - wtf does it have to do with anything.... money and racism has nothing to do with each other.... although i believe that correlation exists... but that just shows how severe the problem is... people who can attend an international match are clearly not poor... and if the percentage is so high in middle/higher class earners what is happening with the poor?

Allthough the clubs in the Netherlands would never have allowed this banner in the stadium, I do not think the Dutch government or state prosecuter would have taken action either.
It shows a huge lack of respect, but that does not mean using the word "Jihad" is against the law per se.
(Besides that responsibility for public order is mainly with the Major and not the national government....)
