Woeful is a bit harsh,, defensive yes. new team, new manager, lots of injuries and our 1 genuine World class player suspended, so it's going to take time to rebuild. A draw against (on paper) a very good France side was a decent start, it's about results in the end. If they get through to the next round they might have built up a decent rapport and start playing a bit more expansive. After the last 2 tournaments where we had no idea what we were doing at least it's a step in the right direction.
