For the first time since 2007 I'm satisfied with the game of Polish NT, decent game

still lots of mistakes, still we have problems with positional attacking etc...but we managed to get a deserved draw against Russia, which I would've gladly taken before the game.

now we need to beat Ceska Rep, and then we can lose against the Germans once again. ;)

really nice match to watch

i expected russia to dominate, especially after that first half, but poland played a very good game in 2nd half

good to see teams going all in for the win.

i expect dzagoev to be star of this championship

da fuq going with the referees in this Euro?

They also want to make/write football history. ;)

btw. I LOVE goal.com match reports and ratings :D

1. They think that Obraniak made the assist, not Piszczek
2. Quote:

"Dariusz Dudka, 1.5 [note]

Failed to convince in his debut at Euro 2012. Many loses of the ball and had very poor pass security. Was substituted."

Official statistics of passes by Dudka:

Long passes: 6 attempts, 5 accurate
Medium passes: 30 attempts, 25 accurate
Short passes: 8 attempts, 6 accurate

pass accuracy: 82%, highest in Polish team

russia - poland was the best game until now. very dinamic and passionate, but also very fair. błaszczykowskis goal (i hope i wrote his name correct ;) was unbelievable. great goal from one great guy ;)

Lewandowski thinks he´s too good. Always lost 1on1-s yesterday. Other than that a decent game.

Today its gonna be epic games. Netherland gonna show how total football is played and Cristiano is gonna score an epic goal.

dudka was very good yesterday - the player you were missing against greece.

2012-06-13 11:06:18
yeah, I don't rate him too high in general, he has a tendency to make stupid mistakes in crucial moments, but yesterday he was very good. Polanski was even better though, top class performance in destruction and proper constructing actions.

@Visconte
Lewandowski was left all alone up front, what do you expect him to do when he has 3 Russians around him and no one from his team? And that was the case for most of the time ;).

Also, Russian central defenders were quite impressive at handling him...and they were totally dominant in the air, except for 2 or 3 set pieces.

my mistake then, I was misguided by tv comments and e-net reports ;)
Really a great goal from Blaszczykowski. I can't believe that left is his weaker foot.

Lewandowski seems to be too cocky. He always shoots and takes on players that tackle him easily. He's got it into his head that he's better than everyone else - that's why it's good to see Blaszczykowski score instead of him.
