I don't think Cancellara is in good enough shape to make it. He was already beaten by Sagan in the Tour de Suisse. He struggles a bit after his injury - performs well, but not world class.

Gilbert was much better today. 9th place in this prologue reveals good form. Him and Sagan are favorites imo

Nice try by Cancellara, obviously he's in excellent shape :) But Sagan was too strong and clever enough. Impressive, after 4(!) wins at the Tour de Suisse first win in the TdF in the first stage of his very first participation :D

I think he is now the most talented rider :-)

Cancellara is too strong for the others so nobody don't want to help him in making pace, so Fabian can't count with Sagan's help 1 km before finish... :-) however his "attack" was excellent! :-)

today in the last KMs he was alone ;-) there were only Lotto riders with Greipel, two riders from GreenEdge and Sagan ;-) and Cavendish on the backwheel of Greipel :P so he was without team ;-)

and I never wrote he is the best sprinter in history :P I only wrote he is the number one in these years...
